Clare Boyd - Director of Business and Administration

Clare is a transformational scheduled care specialist, with over 15 years healthcare experience, the most recent 4 years supporting NHS Organisations. She specialises in supporting organisations in clinical pathway creation and improvement; service transformation and analysis; development and implementation of cohesive patient administration pathways from referral to discharge; clinical IT systems; referral management systems and medical records processes and healthcare planning.

Clare is qualified in leadership and management with an excellent understanding of clinical areas and facilities, this knowledge and experience enables Clare to lead transformational pathway projects across healthcare organisation. A specialist advisor in the implementation of eReferrals across all services, Clare has managed a number of new services from bid stage through CQC registration and finally mobilisation.

Clare is an accomplished project manager with extensive experience and the capacity to communicate effectively at all levels to support and inspire services to adopt flexible working practices to develop a culture of quality, achievement, safety and patient focused care. Recent services that Clare has supported have included Vascular Acute and Community Services; Orthopaedic Elective Care Surgery and Outpatients; Surgical Admissions and Discharge Unit (hot site); A 65 bedded Elective Centre including Endoscopy and Infusion (cold site); Elective Admissions; Outpatient Bookings; Deteriorating Patient Improvement.

Clare’s most recent project is supporting an NHS Organisation with a complete estate rationalisation project assessing service needs and reducing the estates footprint by a target of 25%. Working as a health care planner with in conjunction with the Trust’s Estate and Clinical Teams, Architects and Contractors to review occupancy and design new enviornments and facilities to future proof services and utilise available estate.
